Li Bai is a tenured Professor and Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering, Temple University. His work bridges computer engineering and interdisciplinary medical imaging applications.
His research interests include:

Recent publications demonstrate a strong trend in applying deep learning to enhance biomedical imaging techniques, particularly in MRI-based perfusion and metabolic imaging. This reflects a growing interdisciplinary focus on medical data processing and AI-driven diagnostics.
Dr. Bai leads the Computer Fusion Lab and has been involved in sponsored research projects involving portable wireless devices and 802.11 protocols. He was a core organizer of the 8th International Conference on Information Fusion (2005). He teaches undergraduate courses such as Digital Circuit Design, Robotic Control using ROS, and Processor Systems Laboratory.
He has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and conferences.
