Emilio Garcia Rosello

Emilio Garcia Rosello serves as a full-time Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Commerce, University of Vigo, actively contributing to the SI1 Research Group focused on Languages and Computer Systems.

He earned his Doctorate from the University of Vigo in 2010 with the thesis titled Reuse of COTS: Design of a Solution to Improve the Reusability of an Environment in the Scientific-Educational Domain, supervised by Dr. José Baltasar García Pérez-Schofield and Dr. Jacinto González Dacosta.

His research specializes in Software Engineering methodologies for Software Reusability, particularly Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) component integration within Educational Technology frameworks. This work bridges Computer Systems design and Programming Languages theory to develop efficient scientific-educational software solutions.

Based at the Vigo campus, Dr. Garcia Rosello collaborates within the SI1 Research Group on advancing languages and systems for reusable educational environments.
