Lewis Payton is a Professor of Practice in the Industrial and Systems Engineering department at Auburn University's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. He also serves as the Associate Director of Operations for the Interdisciplinary Center for Advanced Manufacturing Systems (ICAMS) and holds the Alabama Power Nuclear Power Generation Systems Professorship and the Thomas Walters Business Engineering Technology Professorship.
