Lena Hakim is a PhD candidate in Rhetoric and Writing Studies at Wayne State University (WSU), affiliated with the Department of English within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on Arab American students' classroom experiences, Arab rhetorical traditions, and antiracist pedagogy. She holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in English.
