Lea Cetera

Lea Cetera is an Adjunct Professor at The Cooper Union's School of Art. She holds an MFA from Columbia University (2012) and a BFA from Cooper Union's School of Art (2005). Her practice spans video, sculpture, performance, and temporal installations, exploring themes such as object-body dynamics, public/private boundaries, and the interplay between virtual and real spaces. Cetera employs techniques from theater and filmmaking to interrogate constructed identities, technological mediation, bodily alienation, and object fetishism.

Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including The Drawing Center, Sculpture Center, Jewish Museum, Queens Museum, Socrates Sculpture Park, MOSTYN Contemporary Art Gallery (UK), and represented by Southard Reid (London). She lives and works in New York City.
