LeAnn Luna is the Jan R. Williams Professor of Accounting at the University of Tennessee, with dual appointments in the Department of Accounting & Information Management and the Boyd Center for Business and Economic Research. She earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, M.T. in Taxation from the University of Denver College of Law, and B.B.A. in Accounting from Southern Methodist University.
Her research focuses on state and local tax policy, particularly sales and use taxes, state corporate income tax, e-commerce taxation, and college savings plans. Recent publications analyze tax compliance dynamics, executive compensation legislation, and economic impacts of healthcare policy.
