Laurel Roth

Laurel Roth (she/they) is a Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Colorado Denver, where they contribute to undergraduate and graduate programs. They earned an MFA in Poetry from Colorado State University and previously served as an Editorial Associate at Colorado Review.

Their creative work has been published or is forthcoming in journals such as F(r)iction, The Sugar House Review, and Passengers Journal. Roth has attended prestigious writing conferences, including Tin House, Aspen Words, and the Bread Loaf Environmental Writers’ Conference, reflecting their engagement with literary and environmental discourse.

Laurel is currently pursuing a Certificate in Climate Change, integrating interdisciplinary interests into their academic practice. Office hours are available by appointment via Zoom or in person at 1015 Ninth Street Park, Office 201.
