Dr. Laura Wilkinson is a Grant-Funded Researcher (A) at the University of Adelaide, affiliated with the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology. Her research focuses on plant reproduction, seed development, and translational plant breeding, with a particular emphasis on crop fertility and climate change impacts on crop flowering. She holds a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Adelaide, followed by a PhD in 2019 under Prof. Matt Tucker, exploring barley ovule development and nucellus function. Postdoctoral work at the John Innes Centre (UK) investigated environmental cues influencing stem cell fate in brassica crops.
