Laura Vialon

Laura Vialon is a German-qualified lawyer and research student at the City Law School, University of London, supported by a 3-year full scholarship. She holds an LL.M. in International Human Rights and Environmental Law from SOAS and has lectured in German civil and constitutional law at University College London (2022–2024). Currently, she serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at City St George's and an External Examiner for King's College London's German Law modules.

Her research focuses on corporate governance structures to enhance sustainability and employee well-being, combining insights from psychology/sociology and law. Key interests include participatory governance models and voice mechanisms within enterprises. She is supervised by Nina Boeger and Hamiisi Nsubuga.

Laura has a robust academic background, including certifications in mediation (University of Cologne) and dual legal qualifications (Germany/France). Her professional experience spans legal practice at ZIMMERs Solicitors and research roles at Luther Rechtsanwälte and the University of Cologne.

Awarded the prestigious City University of London Centrally Funded Scholarship (2024), her work bridges international law perspectives with national enterprise law frameworks. She is fluent in English, French, and German, with peer-review proficiency in all three languages.
