Laura Rose is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She holds leadership roles including Associate Chair, Undergraduate Program Director, PSYC 100 Course Manager, and Peer Mentors Program Coordinator. Dr. Rose earned her Ph.D. from UMBC in 2014. Her research focuses on adolescent parenting, early intervention strategies, and emerging adulthood. She teaches courses such as Introduction to Psychology, Child Developmental Psychology, and Advanced Child Psychology. Her 2014 publication in Pediatrics in Review highlights pediatricians' roles in early intervention programs. While not currently accepting graduate students, Dr. Rose oversees the Peer Mentor Program for undergraduates.
