Karrie Godwin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Her research focuses on cognitive and environmental factors influencing children's development and learning, with particular emphasis on attention regulation, executive function, language acquisition, and categorization. She directs the Child Development Lab, which collaborates with the Sherman Center for Early Learning in Urban Communities.
