Laura Morcillo

Laura Morcillo is an Academic Assistant in the Department of Media Art at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG). She serves as the Head of the Zeitbild-Lab, a platform supporting student film projects, and also acts as the Equal Opportunities Officer at the university. Born in 1981, she holds a History degree from the University of the Basque Country and Nice Sophia-Antipolis, and a Media Arts diploma from HfG Karlsruhe. Her career includes film production, curatorial work, and collaborative research projects, such as the Migrant Image Research Group and the Driving the Human festival.
