Laura Kathryn Addy

Laura Kathryn Addy OD, FAAO is Associate Professor and Director of Residencies at Midwestern University's Arizona College of Optometry. She specializes in ocular disease diagnosis, electrophysiology testing, and low vision rehabilitation. Addy completed her optometry degree at Midwestern and an ocular disease residency at the Southern Arizona VA.

Her clinical research focuses on diagnostic methodologies and toxic optic neuropathies. Recent publications analyze measurement validity in tonometry and long-term outcomes of drug-induced optic nerve damage.

As residency director, Dr. Addy oversees postgraduate training programs. She teaches ocular disease management, electrophysiology, and clinical theory across the optometry curriculum.
