About
Laura Greene is a Research Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Florida's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She leads the Condensed Matter Experiment research group, focusing on spectroscopic studies of strongly correlated electron systems including superconductors, heavy fermions, and topological insulators. Her research aims to elucidate mechanisms of unconventional superconductivity and develop methods for predictive design of new superconductors.
Her work spans multiple areas of condensed matter physics, with particular emphasis on:
- Spectroscopic techniques to probe quantum materials
- Unconventional superconductivity mechanisms
- Topological states in correlated electron systems
- Heavy fermion and iron-based superconductors
Prof. Greene's recent publications demonstrate consistent focus on experimental condensed matter physics, with increasing emphasis on topological materials and advanced spectroscopic methods since 2015.
