Laura Carpaneto is an Associate Professor at the Department of Political and International Sciences (DiSPI) of the University of Genoa. Her teaching duties include courses such as European Union Law, Notions of European Union Law, and specialized seminars on EU legal frameworks across International and Diplomatic Sciences, Sports Policies, and Mediterranean Agri-Food Sciences and Cultures programs. She also contributes to master’s courses on Transport Safety Law and Food Safety in EU contexts.
Research interests focus on European Union Law, particularly in areas like transport policy, private international law, and children's legal rights in cross-border jurisdictional matters. Her recent publications analyze EU legal frameworks for railway infrastructure contracts and the Hague Conference's initiatives on parentage/surrogacy.
