Lau Wen Rong serves as Artist Faculty for Trumpet at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore, where he contributes to performance training and artistic development as a Yamaha Artist.
His academic credentials include:
- Bachelor of Music from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (NUS) with full merit scholarship
- Master’s Degree from The Juilliard School under Frieda and Harry Aronson Scholarship studying with Raymond Mase
Specializing in trumpet performance, his artistic practice spans orchestral, chamber, and solo contexts with emphasis on brass repertoire development and music education outreach. He actively engages communities through public performances and educational initiatives.
