Lars Engwall

Lars Engwall is a distinguished academic in business administration and management sciences. He served as Professor of Business Administration at Uppsala University from 1981 to 2009, followed by a Senior Professor role from 2009 to 2013. His career includes positions at institutions such as École Polytechnique (Paris) and the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (Brussels).

His research focuses on creation and diffusion of management knowledge, organizational context analysis, and industrial structures. Engwall has held leadership roles in multiple academies, including the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Royal Swedish Society of Sciences.
