Larry Cook is an Associate Professor and Coordinator of Photography in Howard University's College of Fine Arts. An interdisciplinary artist working across photography, video, and mixed media, his practice explores themes of identity, landscape, and social narratives.
Cook's work has been exhibited internationally at major institutions including the Brooklyn Museum, Baltimore Museum of Art, and Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt. His practice engages with contemporary art discourse while addressing historical and social contexts.
He has received prestigious awards including the Gordon Parks Fellowship and Harvard Arts Award. His art is held in permanent collections of MoMA, Harvard Art Museums, and Baltimore Museum of Art.
