Lan Phuong Nguyen

Lan Phuong Nguyen is a Lecturer at the Adelaide Business School, Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics at the University of Adelaide. She specializes in empirical Corporate Finance research and contributes to the academic community through teaching and scholarly publications.

Dr. Nguyen's research interests focus on empirical Corporate Finance with particular expertise in executive compensation structures, corporate capital raising decisions, institutional investment patterns, corporate disclosure practices, and governance mechanisms. Her work bridges theoretical finance concepts with practical business applications, providing valuable insights for both academic and professional audiences.

She teaches a range of finance courses including Takeovers & Corporate Restructuring, Advanced Corporate Finance, Case Studies in Finance, and Mergers & Value Enhancing Strategies. Before joining academia, Dr. Nguyen gained substantial industry experience as a Senior Analyst at Mercer Australia.
