His work addresses theoretical, morphological, and pedagogical aspects of Orthodox ecclesiastical chant, with particular emphasis on source-based research (manuscripts, printed editions, archival material). Recent publications explore aesthetic principles (2018), implied rhythm in 19th–20th century compositions (2009), and tetraphony in Byzantine music (2000). He participates in international conferences like Crossroads | Greece as an intercultural pole (2011) and Modus-Modi-Modality (2017).
