Kurt T. Barnhart is the William Shippen, Jr. Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine. He serves as Vice Chair for Research and Director of the Women’s Health Clinical Research Center. His research focuses on clinical and epidemiologic aspects of reproduction, including ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, and infertility, supported by continuous NIH funding since 1996.
