Krystyna Prokopska

Krystyna Prokopska is a Lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages at the Gdańsk Academy of Music named after Stanisław Moniuszki. She holds a Master's degree in English Philology from Jagiellonian University and a diploma in piano performance from a secondary music school. Her teaching focuses on specialized English for the arts, music, and psychology at institutions including SWPS University. She actively translates children's literature and writes articles on authors in this field.

Her professional experience includes roles in Germany and Kraków, alongside her current position in Gdańsk. She has been recognized for her translation work, earning the 2011 National Translation Competition prize. Her expertise bridges language education, music pedagogy, and literary translation, with contributions to both academic and creative domains.
