Paula Preuss

Dr. Paula Preuss is a distinguished violinist and doctoral graduate of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where she studied under Prof. Krystyna Jurecka. She has maintained an active concert career across Poland and internationally, performing as a soloist with ensembles such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, and the Baltic Youth Philharmonic. Since 2015, she has served as concertmaster of the Elbląg Chamber Orchestra.

Her work bridges classical technique with collaborative ensemble dynamics.

• 3rd Place (2008), 1st Place (2013), and Brahms Special Award (2014) in international chamber music competitions
• Scholarship holder of the Mayor of Gdańsk, 'Agrafka Muzyczna' magazine (2009–2011, 2014–2015), and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage

Collaborative Engagements: Active member of the AKME Piano Quartet and AKME Quartet, contributing to award-winning performances. Regularly participates in international music courses and festivals.
