Kristy Koser serves as an Assistant Professor of Counseling and Human Development within the School of Social & Behavioral Sciences at Malone University. With a Ph.D. from James Madison University, she brings over 15 years of clinical experience to her role, teaching graduate students in clinical mental health counseling programs both in-person and virtually across the United States.
Her educational qualifications include:
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from James Madison University
- Master of Arts (M.A.) from Eastern Mennonite University
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Eastern Mennonite University
Dr. Koser is a certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist (EFT) and Supervisor, and is nationally recognized as a leader in reproductive mental health. She holds active licenses as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia and as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio and Pennsylvania, maintaining a private practice for the past 15 years. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes quality clinical training and demystifying complex counseling concepts for students.
