Kristy Choi

Kristy Choi is a Lecturer in Dentistry (Education Focused) at the Sydney Dental School, part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. With over 24 years of clinical experience in private general dentistry and 20 years managing her own practice, she integrates practical expertise into her academic role. Her work emphasizes whole-person care, compassionate dentistry, and trauma-informed approaches in oral health education.

Kristy's research focuses on developing curricula and training frameworks for oral health practitioners to better support trauma-affected patients. She also engages in community-based educator roles to enhance adult well-being.
