Katharina Alves Rabelo

Dr. Katharina Alves Rabelo is a Lecturer in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the Sydney Dental School, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney. She earned her BDS (2013), MSD in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (2014), and a Master's in Clinical Dentistry (2016).

Her research focuses on artifact reduction in CBCT, temporomandibular joint imaging using MRI, forensic dentistry, and dental materials. She also explores artificial intelligence applications to enhance dental education and diagnostics.

Dr. Rabelo's recent publications highlight trends in dental material innovation, imaging artifact mitigation, and AI integration in diagnostic workflows. Her 2023 study on resin-modified glass-ionomer cements underscores advancements in dental restoratives.
