Kristopher Imbrigotta is an Associate Professor of German Studies at the University of Puget Sound, serving as department chair and on the executive committee for Environmental Sciences and Studies. His research bridges late 19th-century to contemporary German literature, performance studies, environmental humanities, and memory discourses. He directs the Berlin summer program and co-leads the University of Puget Sound’s exchange with the University of Passau.

Imbrigotta’s work appears in journals like Radical History Review and German Quarterly, and he edits the German Life and Civilization monograph series. He co-founded the German Studies Collaboratory, a digital humanities platform, and co-coordinates Humanities for the Anthropocene, addressing environmental crises through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Upcoming projects include an anthology on Brecht and Ecocriticism (Camden House, forthcoming) and a journal issue on memory discourses and colonialism. He is a recipient of the Thomas A. Davis Teaching Award and the John Lantz Fellowship.
