Dr. Kristine Graettinger is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed residency training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With clinical expertise spanning normal and high-risk pregnancy care, gynecologic surgery, and family planning, she provides comprehensive care from adolescence through menopause.
Her research focuses on improving access to long-acting contraceptive methods, particularly for underserved populations, and developing assessment tools for prenatal breastfeeding self-efficacy. She utilizes minimally invasive surgical techniques including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and robotic-assisted approaches.
Dr. Graettinger balances clinical practice with medical education, having received teaching awards and recognition for resident and student mentorship. She practices at Froedtert Specialty Clinics and Froedtert Hospital.
