Ko-lin Chin

Dr. Ko-lin Chin is Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University's School of Criminal Justice, specializing in transnational organized crime. With Fulbright Scholarships and NSF/NIJ funding, his research examines Chinese crime networks, drug trafficking, and global sex trade operations.

Research focuses on the structure of Chinese heroin trade, human smuggling organizations, sex trafficking networks in Asia, and Chinatown gang dynamics. His ethnographic fieldwork analyzes criminal enterprises across Southeast Asia and the United States.

Author of definitive works including 'The Chinese Heroin Trade', 'Selling Sex Overseas', and 'Chinatown Gangs', his publications document the operations of illicit markets and cross-border criminal networks.
