Kjell Åsmund Blix Salvesen

Professor Kjell Åsmund Blix Salvesen is affiliated with NTNU's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Clinical Medicine (Obstetrics and Gynecology). His research focuses on pregnancy complications, preeclampsia screening, maternal-fetal medicine, and pelvic floor disorders. He has contributed to international guidelines on antenatal care and ultrasound safety in pregnancy. Recent work includes studies on novel preeclampsia risk stratification, gestational diabetes prevention, and exercise interventions for high-BMI pregnant individuals.
