Kirby Hebert

Kirby Hebert is a Professional in Residence and Certified Online Instructor in the Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management at Louisiana State University’s College of Engineering. He holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering (2001) and a B.S. in Civil Engineering (1998), both from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, alongside a B.S. in Industrial Technology (1982) from the same institution.

His teaching focuses on structural engineering principles, applied design, and construction materials. He has been a Professional Engineer in Louisiana since 2011 and a freelance Patent Agent at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 1998. His professional roles combine academic instruction with engineering practice and intellectual property expertise.
