Kevin Watson

Kevin Watson is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Broadcasting Program at Vincennes University and serves as General Manager of the university's radio stations (WVUB-FM, WFML-FM, and online student stations). He has taught courses such as Broadcast Industries, Audio Production, and Sports Media since August 2006.

His research focuses on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in media broadcasting and production. Professionally, he explores evolving trends in music programming and sports broadcasting through both teaching and industry practice.

Watson's career includes over 30 years in commercial and noncommercial broadcasting. He has received recognition at the Spectrum Awards and led teams to Cardinal Service Awards for community service. His leadership during the pandemic earned a Best Covid-19 Response award.

He actively contributes to non-profits such as Bridgeport Main Street Ministries (President/Director) and the Vincennes University President's Advisory Committee. He also facilitates student integration into radio stations through experiential learning programs.
