Kevin Park

Dr. Kevin Park is a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and postdoctoral training at the University of Washington in Seattle, followed by a Senior Research Associate role at the Centre for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics at UBC.

Research Interests: Dr. Park investigates the pathogenic mechanisms of neuronal cell cycle re-entry in Alzheimer’s disease, employing a unique transgenic mouse model to explore its connections to disease-related pathologies. His prior work extends to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Huntington’s disease, emphasizing molecular and cellular approaches in neurodegeneration.
