Kevin Laupland is a Professor at Queensland University of Technology and serves as Intensivist & Director of Intensive Care Research at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH). He relocated to Brisbane in 2019 after extensive clinical and research experience in Canada.

- Master of Science in Epidemiology from University of Calgary
- PhD from Griffith University (2020)
His research focuses on the epidemiology of severe infections and antimicrobial-resistant pathogens, supported by over 500 publications. He collaborates internationally across medical, surgical, laboratory, and allied health disciplines in Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Sweden, and the UK.
