Professor Kevin Laupland is a Professor of Intensive Care and Director of Research at QUT's Faculty of Health, School of Medicine. He holds expertise in critical care medicine, infectious diseases, and epidemiology. His training includes an MD (Honours) from the University of Toronto, a Royal College of Physicians fellowship in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, and Infectious Diseases, and an MS in Epidemiology from the University of Calgary.
His research focuses on the epidemiology of severe infections, antimicrobial resistance, and clinical outcomes in critical care settings.
