Kevin Jang

Dr. Kevin Jang is a Clinical Lecturer and Radiation Oncology Registrar at the University of Sydney's Sydney Medical School within the Faculty of Medicine and Health. He holds a MBBS from James Cook University and an MAcadMEd (Membership of the Academy of Medical Educators, UK). His research focuses on quantitative cancer imaging, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR/SBRT), and the history/philosophy of medicine. He has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, including an invited contribution to Machine Learning in Clinical Neuroscience.

Dr. Jang's academic affiliations include the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO), and the Royal Society of Arts (Fellow). He has received notable awards such as the Avant Early Career Research Scholarship (2022) and the NSW/ACT Young Achiever of the Year Finalist (2023).

His teaching contributions include supervising medical students at Sydney University and serving as a peer-reviewer for journals like World Neurosurgery and Medicina Historica. He collaborates internationally on radiomics, machine learning applications in oncology, and historical medical practices.
