Ken Myers

Ken Myers is an Associate Professor in the Business Department at the University of Minnesota Crookston. He has also served as Department Chair and campus Registrar. His expertise focuses on hospitality management, including hotels, restaurants, resorts, hospitals, and culinary production.

• A.O.S. from the Culinary Institute of America

Myers combines academic work with practical industry experience, having managed a French restaurant, Radisson Hotels, and co-owned a full-service hotel. He has authored peer-reviewed journal publications, textbook chapters, and presented at regional, national, and international conferences. His consulting firm, Sweet Harmony, provides services like feasibility studies, marketing, and gourmet event catering.

Ken is actively involved in university committees, including the Campus Promotion & Tenure Committee and Dept. Curriculum Committee. He also contributed to the South Dakota Summer Food Service Certification School for 15 summers, recognized by the South Dakota Governor and Department of Education.
