Ken Chen

Ken Chen is an Assistant Professor at the School of Business of Trent University. He holds a Ph.D. from Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University and a BBA from Schulich School of Business at York University.

Research Interests: His work focuses on dynamic capabilities, networks, organizational learning, and strategic innovation. He explores collaborative entrepreneurship, technology platforms, and business model evolution, with teaching interests in strategic management and new venture development.

• 2019 JPIM Research Forum Best Competitive Paper Award

Academic Service and Community Engagement: He serves as a Divisional Editor for the ASAC Conference since 2019 and contributes to local business resilience through the Whitby Chamber of Commerce and Metroland Durham. He also facilitated the Seniorpreneur Program for Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship Boot Camp in 2019.
