Kelly O'Neal Lancaster

Kelly O'Neal Lancaster is a Professor of Liberal Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2002. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Oklahoma, M.A. in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia, B.A. in Speech and Dramatic Art from Mercer University, and A.A. in Liberal Arts from Darton College.

Her research focuses on communication dynamics in conflict resolution, group performance, and theatrical education. She has authored two major works: an unpublished doctoral dissertation on sexual harassment conflict management (1986) and a master's thesis on environmental aesthetics in group settings (1982).

Award highlights include the SCAD Outstanding Faculty Award and NISOD Excellence Award. She has held academic roles at SCAD, Stillman College, Palm Beach Community College, Darton College, and Mercer University, with prior experience as a training specialist and teaching assistant.
