Kelly Jahn is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas), affiliated with the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences and the Neuroaudiology Lab. Her research focuses on improving treatments for hearing loss by studying changes in auditory perception across the lifespan and following acoustic injury. She holds a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington, an AuD in Audiology from Vanderbilt University, and dual degrees in Psychology and Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut.
Key research areas include cochlear implant outcomes, hyperacusis mechanisms, tinnitus diagnostics, and the neural basis of auditory perception.
