Kelly Belanger is a Professor of English and University Director of Writing at Valparaiso University. She holds a Ph.D. in English from The Ohio State University (1992) and has held prior roles including Associate Professor at Virginia Tech and founding director of the Center for the Study of Rhetoric in Society. Her work focuses on rhetoric, writing pedagogy, and gender equity in education, particularly through Title IX advocacy.
Belanger’s research includes seminal publications in journals such as College Composition and Communication and Journal of Business and Technical Communication.
