Kelechi Anyigor

Dr Kelechi Anyigor is a Senior Lecturer in Project Management at Northumbria University's Department of Mechanical and Construction Engineering under the Architecture and Built Environment School. He holds a PhD in Urban Development from Northumbria University, an MSc in Project Management from the same institution, and a Bachelor's in Urban and Regional Planning from Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Nigeria.

His research focuses on the interplay of social, economic, and environmental factors in deprived urban communities, sustainable project delivery, and leadership/knowledge management in project contexts. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals targeting poverty alleviation and sustainable urban development.

Key research trends include renewable energy infrastructure (e.g., solar roads), small business growth in Nigeria, and stakeholder dynamics in construction projects. He has advised one student and delivered poverty-alleviation projects across Africa, Asia, and the UK, including establishing a free school in Hyderabad, India.
