Dr. Keith Stubbs is an Associate Professor and Chemistry Curriculum Coordinator in the School of Molecular Sciences at The University of Western Australia (UWA). He holds a BSc and PhD from UWA and completed postdoctoral studies at Simon Fraser University, Canada. His research focuses on developing chemical tools to study enzymes involved in human disease, bacterial pathogenesis, and biodiscovery, with particular expertise in carbohydrate biochemistry, enzymology, and herbicide development.

- Antimicrobial resistance: Targeting new therapeutics through synthetic and medicinal chemistry.
- Herbicide resistance: Discovering novel compounds and methods to combat agricultural threats.
- Microfluidics: Exploring new synthetic methodologies using vortex fluidic platforms.

Teaching: Leads courses including CHEM1002 (Chemistry-Structure and Reactivity) and CHEM3004 (Synthetic Applications).
