Keith Sinclair is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Chichester and a PhD candidate at the University of Southampton. His academic career is complemented by legal practice as a litigator, work as a researcher for a Member of Parliament and government minister, and qualifications as a barrister (England and Wales) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He teaches Contract Law, Law of the European Union, and Company Law across LLB and LLM programs.

His research focuses on law’s role in economic progress, including competition/consumer rights regimes in the UK and EU, and the adequacy of anti-money laundering regulations regarding cryptocurrencies. Other interests span administrative law, taxation, planning law, and jurisprudence.
Keith advises on dissertations aligning with his expertise in technology’s impact on law, commercial topics (contracts, competition, intellectual property), and EU-related matters. He has contributed to legal practice through appearances in County Court litigation and policy advising on constitutional, commercial, and planning issues.
