Kayla Walker Edin

Kayla Walker Edin is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Liberal Arts at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), specializing in English literature. She holds a Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University and has taught at institutions including Milligan College and Portland State University. Her research focuses on intersections of gender, literature, and historical context, with notable work on Chaucer, Victorian narratives, and feminist critiques of modernist authors like Woolf and Conrad.

Edin's academic leadership roles include directing SCAD's Liberal Arts department and previously leading Milligan College's Women's and Gender Studies program.
