Kayla Romberger is a Lecturer at the Weitzman School of Design, University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Fine Arts and Design. Her work as an artist and arts organizer has been exhibited internationally, including at Satellite Projects (Miami), the 4th Gwangju Design Biennale, and MoMA PS1. Publications featuring her work include The Guardian, ArtForum, and Designboom.
She holds an MFA in Art & Design and a Certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Michigan. Prior to her current role, she completed internships at the Whitney Museum of Art and Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia. She co-founded Ulises, a bookshop and exhibition space, where she curates shows with international artists.
Her current project 'Publishing As Practice' is an experimental art publishing residency funded by the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.
