Katucha Bento is a Senior Lecturer in Race and Decolonial Studies at the University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science. A Black feminist scholar, her work spans Critical Race Studies, Decolonial Thought, Queer Studies, and Rhetoric and Discourse Analysis, with a focus on Black diaspora, racialisation, and anti-racist pedagogies.

Her publications emphasize transnational solidarity, decolonial pedagogies, and racial justice.
