Katie Zahedi

Katie Zahedi is an Adjunct Professor in Educational Studies and Leadership at SUNY New Paltz. Her career includes K-12 administrative roles as Principal and Assistant Principal, along with experience as a Consultant Teacher. She currently serves as a consultant and teaches at Marist College.

Research examines mentoring's impact on educational administrators, resilient organizational cultures, and comparative studies of international education systems. Her work compares educational approaches in Finland, Germany, Iran, and the United States.

Publications include analyses of teacher satisfaction during educational reforms and critiques of standardized testing frameworks. She holds certifications in special education and social studies instruction.
