Kathryn Jefferies

Dr. Kathryn Jefferies is a Continuing Lecturer in Undergraduate Studies in Education at Lakehead University (Thunder Bay). She joined the university in January 2013, bringing expertise from previous roles as an Instructor at Georgian College and a Primary/Secondary Teacher in Canada, Honduras, and Guyana.

Her research focuses on mental health and wellbeing, emphasizing social-emotional intelligence, holistic education, and the nature of consciousness. She explores non-conceptual intelligence, self-inquiry, and pedagogical approaches for highly sensitive children and right-brain learning.
