Kathryn Davison is a Senior Lecturer and Team Leader for the Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Therapeutics team at the University of Sunderland’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Since joining the university in 2011, she has developed clinical teaching modules, served as MPharm Programme Leader, and contributed to national pharmacy education policies via her role with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Her research focuses on pharmacy education, particularly experiential learning and pre-registration tutor training, supported by grants from the National Pharmacy Association (2014) and Health Education England (2016). She leads projects on the Prescribing Safety Assessment and bariatric patient care, emphasizing practical skill development for pharmacy students.
